Except for TCM cells, described changes were generally similar to the results of Nunes et al. Whereas they observed a lower percentage of CD4+ TCM and a trend toward it in CD8+ TCM in CLL patients compared to controls, in our study, the percentage of CD4+ TCM was higher in patients with stable disease, and the percentage of CD8+ TCM in patients with the progressive disease compared to controls. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
