In addition, further detection by p-S6+/SYN+ double-labeled immunofluorescence assays showed that EA significantly increased the colocalized expression of p-S6 and SYN in the cerebral cortex after ischemic stroke, suggesting that EA activation of the neuroplasticity-related protein SYN may be related to the mTOR signaling pathway.
