Based on our findings on the biological transactivity of the complex interactions between immune cells and HCC, SGOL1 is involved in the control of the T-cell leukemia virus type 1 oncoprotein, which is a direct target of the human T-cell leukemia virus type 1 oncoprotein regulating mitotic arrest defect-like 1 (MAD1), and it is closely associated with CIN, thereby participating in tumor progression or cellular senescence (31). This evidence concerns the gene SGO1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
