One study (Li et al., 2021a) conducted a comparative analysis of m6A modifications in TMZ-resistant and TMZ-sensitive clinical GBM samples using m6A miCLIP-seq and revealed that the m6A methyltransferase METTL3 and the EXH2 methyltransferase H3K27me3 form a regulatory loop that exacerbates resistance to TMZ in patients with GBM.
