ADAR3, a brain-specific, high-expression adenosine deaminase, has been shown to play a similar role to ADAR2 in gliomas (Oakes et al., 2017), and ADAR3 has shown great clinical significance as a potential therapeutic target and useful prognostic factor (Zhang et al., 2018) In the CGGA dataset, downregulation of ADAR3 expression correlated with glioma progression. This evidence concerns the gene ADARB2 and glioma.
