ADAR3, a brain-specific, high-expression adenosine deaminase, has been shown to play a similar role to ADAR2 in gliomas (Oakes et al., 2017), and ADAR3 has shown great clinical significance as a potential therapeutic target and useful prognostic factor (Zhang et al., 2018) In the CGGA dataset, downregulation of ADAR3 expression correlated with glioma progression. The gene discussed is ADARB2; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
