AMD1 and allergic rhinitis: Many of these DEG in our mouse model such as TLR4, HMGB1, SOCS3, FETUB, FOS, JUN, CD14, VCAM1, IL-6, and IL-1β, have also been reported to be up-regulated in AR patients [18–24]; and 10 (AMD1, CDH26, CPA3, CYP2E1, FETUB, GCNT3, LDHA, POSTN, SLC6A14 and TPSAB1) of the 61 most discriminant epithelial genes between children with dust mite allergic rhinitis and healthy children identified in one previous study [25] were also found to be differentially expressed in our mouse model, supporting the results of this study.
