Currently, more than 20 genes have been discovered, mutations in which are potentially associated with the development of PD and are transmitted both by autosomal dominant inheritance (such genes as: SCNA, LRRK2 and VPS32), as well as by autosomal recessive inheritance (such genes as: PRKN, PINK1 and DJ-1) [2].
