NFKB1 and breast carcinoma: Interestingly, at 20 ng/mL TNFα stimulation of MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cancer cells, azilsartan still showed notable reduction in NF-kB p65 protein levels and substantial elevation in cleaved caspase 3 protein, which confirms the targeted activity of azilsartan on NF-kB pathway to initiate apoptosis in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cell lines.
