Previous research proposed that the values of certain clinical parameters at the diagnosis of IgAN (hypertension and proteinuria [25]; decreased levels of eGFR, hemoglobin, and albumin [26]; and Oxford pathology scores (such as mesangial and endocapillary hypercellularity, segmental sclerosis, and tubular atrophy/interstitial fibrosis) were useful as predictors of disease progression [27,28].
