In this study, we focused on evaluating the diagnostic utility of two chemokines, CXCL1 and CXCL8, as novel biomarkers in Luminal A and B breast cancer, as well as in control groups, i.e., patients with benign lesions (fibroadenoma) and healthy volunteers, alone and in correlation with the routinely measured breast cancer marker—CA 15-3. The gene discussed is CXCL1; the disease is breast carcinoma.
