In a study performed by Massa et al. [19], the CB1 agonist HU210, at the dose of (0.05 mg/kg) injected 30 min before and 24 h and 48 h after 2,4-dinitrobenzene sulfonic acid (DNBS) infusion, protected against experimental colitis, while the CB1 antagonist SR141716A (3 mg/kg) enhanced the extent of intestinal inflammation [19]. The gene discussed is CNR1; the disease is inflammation.
