The genes that differentiated TKI responders in the BCR-ABL− stem cells were enriched in transcriptional regulation by the P53 (FDR = 7.67×10−3) pathway and prevalent in a number of biological processes related to cancer including regulation of cell death (FDR = 7.25×10−6), regulation of apoptotic process (FDR = 2.50×10−5), cellular response to stress (FDR = 1.74×10−3), regulation of cell population proliferation (FDR = 1.10 × 10−2), and negative regulation of kinase activity (FDR = 1.62 × 10−2). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and cancer.
