MUC4 and esophageal cancer: The above results are consistent with previous research on human esophageal cancer mutations [22,25,26,27,28,29], and we found that these genes (Lrp1b, Trp53, Notch1, Pcdh9, Syne1, Xirp2, Csmd3, and Muc4) showed mutations at high frequencies in our mice model.
