Figure 2b also shows that SOS1 and MAPK3 protein were directly related to the activation of NRAS. It is reported that mutations in SOS1 and MAPK3 could lead to the over-activation of RAS pathway (including NRAS), which results in lung adenocarcinoma and melanoma [21,22]. PI3K/Akt/mTOR and MAPK pathways are constitutively activated by phosphorylation [23]. This evidence concerns the gene NRAS and lung adenocarcinoma.
