PDGFRB and dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans: Except for GIST and dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP), in which systemic treatment is based on tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), for most other sarcomas it usually includes anthracycline-based chemotherapy (topoisomerase II inhibitor), ifosfamide (alkylating agent), docetaxel (microtubule-stabilizing agent), cisplatin (alkylating agent), methotrexate (anti-metabolite), trabectedin (alkylating agent), gemcitabine (nucleoside analog), or pazopanib [antiangiogenic TKI; vascular endothelial growth factor receptor and platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR) inhibitor].
