In accordance with the elevated levels of leukocytes in the tumor and despite reductions in the levels of antigen-presenting cells (APCs) and MDSCs, PD-L1 expression levels were increased in leukocytes (Figure 2G), specifically macrophages (Figure 2H), DCs (Figure 2I), and MDSCs (Figure 2J) of tumors from mice treated with TTFields plus anti-PD-1/anti-CTLA-4 as compared to the control (p-value = 0.083 for DCs).
