Similarly, we performed a multi-gene set enrichment analysis of the KEGG pathway, which showed significant enrichment of the NF-κB signaling pathway, intestinal immune network for IgA production and cytokine‒cytokine receptor interaction, as detailed in Figure 4D. The above enrichment results suggest that treatments with DSS and MG affect the expression of pathways linked to the regulation of inflammatory reactions, NF-κB signaling and the production of IL-4, which might be connected to the potential molecular mechanism of MG treatment effect on UC.
