LPA and tuberculosis: Related with cholesterol metabolism, two proteins were found to be increased in TB patients (beta-2-glycoprotein 1 (APOH) and apolipoprotein(a) (LPA)), while three were more abundant in controls (apolipoprotein A-I (APOA1), apolipoprotein A-II (APOA2) and serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 1 (PON1)).
