Due to CD30 suppression in LyP, which is also observed in some hematopoietic system neoplasms (primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) and Hodgkin’s lymphoma (HD)) [8,9], this disease can be viewed as benign lymphoma, but also as a precursor to cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), although some experts consider it to be a very low-grade form of CTCL [10,11]. This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF8 and Hodgkins lymphoma.
