Nonetheless, evidence has accumulated over the years for the involvement of CHK2 in cancer, with reports of CHK2 mutations also found in sarcoma, breast cancer, colon cancer, ovarian cancer, osteosarcoma, lung cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, thyroid cancer, and brain tumors [222,224,226,227,228,229,230].
