The first results of a multiplex cytokine analysis that supports our hypothesis reveal lower IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IFN-γ, and granzyme B concentrations in the circulation of lung cancer patients with low CD4+ T cells, high NK cell ratios, and high circulating Hsp70 levels compared to patients with high CD4+ T cell ratios. This evidence concerns the gene IL2 and lung cancer.
