Consistent with previous studies, we also found that AnxA2 knockdown significantly inhibited bladder cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, along with remarkably decreased expression of proangiogenic proteins such as PDGF-BB, ANGPT1, ANGPT2, Tie-2, bFGF, GRO, IL-6, IL-8, and MMP-9. This evidence concerns the gene ANXA2 and urinary bladder cancer.
