In the present analysis, we reported that elevated pretreatment detection of caspase-8 and CDK9 correlates with improved clinical endpoints (RFS, DMFS and CSS), whereas phosphoCDK9 (Thr 186) predicts an inverse prognostic profile in patients with cervical cancer treated with definitive CRT, suggesting the pro-metastatic properties of hyperactivated pCKD9. Here, CASP8 is linked to cervical cancer.
