Among persons with hsCRP ≥ 3 mg/L, persons with higher compared to those with lower resistin concentrations had higher relative risks of CRC, but these associations were not statistically significant (RR per doubling resistin in persons with hsCRP ≥ 3 mg/L, 1.31; 95% CI: 0.94–1.81). This evidence concerns the gene RETN and colorectal carcinoma.
