CD79A and COVID-19: In another recent work published by Havervall et al. [24], the authors showed that recipients of three doses of different types of COVID-19 vaccines with high titers (i.e., ≥75th percentile) of anti-SARS-CoV-2 spike mucosal IgA antibodies had 65% lower risk of developing SARS-CoV-2 infection compared to those with lower levels.
