CAMLG and neoplasm: CAMLs, especially when being large, have been described as unfavorable prognostic markers for short recurrence-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS) going along with aggressive clinical behavior in different tumor entities [10,16,17]: In metastatic breast cancer patients, high CAML numbers at baseline were significant prognostic markers for poor survival while in non-small cell lung cancer, CAMLs were also independent predictors of short RFS and OS [16,17].
