Researchers developed a murine orthotopic allograft glioma model with an LPPR5 overexpression model (LPPR5OE) and discovered that LPPR5OE tumors exhibited a more benign phenotype evidenced by delayed growth, increased tumor cell apoptosis, reduced vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) secretion, and a dysfunctional vascular architecture. Here, VEGFA is linked to neoplasm.
