Systematic review of MR studies revealed additional inverse associations of genetically predicted milk consumption with asthma, hay fever, multiple sclerosis, colorectal cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and blood lipid levels, but positive associations for Parkinson’s disease, renal cell carcinoma, metabolic syndrome, overweight and obesity, and levels of BMI and fasting insulin. This evidence concerns the gene INS and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
