With ventricular arrhythmia as the dependent variable, and age, history of stroke, hsCRP (>10 mg/L), and elevated visfatin level (>1.40ng/L) as independent variables by univariate analyses shown in Table 1, the results revealed a significant positive association between the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia and age (OR = 1.043; 95% CI, 1.015–1.072, p = 0.003), history of stroke (OR = 2.065; 95% CI, 1.450–5.696, p = 0.005), hsCRP (>10 mg/L) (OR = 4.123; 95% CI, 1.888–9.001, p < 0.001), and elevated visfatin level (>1.40 ng/L) (OR = 3.126; 95% CI, 1.544–6.328, p = 0.002) (Table 4). This evidence concerns the gene NAMPT and Ventricular arrhythmia.
