Finally, when we analyzed the expression profile for DNAM-1, 2B4 and, NKG2D, we found that in 71% of ALL patients, NK cells displayed a concurrent decrease expression frequency for DNAM-1, 2B4 and, NKG2D (Figure 4C, top panel), whereas only 13% of ALL patients presented a normal concurrent expression for these activating receptors (Figure 4C, bottom panel). Here, KLRK1 is linked to acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
