As in previous studies, patients with high TROAP expression had a poorer prognosis in lung cancer, LIHC (18, 41), and KIRC (42), and in many other cancers, such as LGG, mesothelioma, and PAAD, high TROAP expression indicated worse prognosis, confirming that TROAP is a biomarker that may be useful for predicting cancer outcomes. The gene discussed is TROAP; the disease is mesothelioma.
