As shown in Fig. 2, 77 proteins were identified as common binding partners of Kpnβ1 in normal hTERT-RPE1 and HeLa cervical cancer cells (Fig. 2A, numbers shown in the Venn diagrams include Kpnβ1), while 41 proteins were common binding partners of Kpnβ1 in hTERT-RPE1, WHCO5 and KYSE30 oesophageal cancer cell lines (Fig. 2B), and 56 proteins were identified as common binding partners of Kpnβ1 in HeLa, WHCO5 and KYSE30 cancer cells extracts (Fig. 2C). The gene discussed is KPNB1; the disease is carcinoma of esophagus.
