Of note, DUSP6 has been reported to drive resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors in pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia30 as well as resistance to cisplatin treatment in solid tumors31,32, and a recent pre-print33 reports that elevated DUSP6 acts via the S6 protein to mediate resistance to JAK/STAT inhibition, leading to secondary adult AML. This evidence concerns the gene SOAT1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
