KLK3 and cancer: BMI > 25 kg/m2, age ≥70 years old and prostate volume ≥40 cm3 are often used to distinguish overweight, elder patients and large prostates [17,20,21,41,42]; patients with PI-RADS score 4 have high risk of cancer and clinically significant cancer is likely to be present [31]; PSA levels of 10 and 20 ng/mL are cut-offs for risk differentiation in European association of urology (EAU) guideline [43].
