Using a multiplex immunoassay with a relatively large sample, we aimed to compare CSF and plasma levels of five neuropeptides (i.e., α‐MSH, β‐endorphin, neurotensin, oxytocin, and substance P) between patients with major psychiatric disorders and healthy controls and examine the association of neuropeptide levels with symptoms and cognitive function in patients and controls. This evidence concerns the gene NTS and psychiatric disorder.
