These results wereconsistent with previous studies conducted with prostate, bladder, and breast cancerxenografts.4-6,19 The observedincrease in cell death (Figure 2) was also accompanied by a decrease in the proliferativefraction of tumor cells demonstrated by a decrease in Ki-67 labeling in the treatedtumors (Figure 3).
