Through analysis of NF-κB subunit expression in published profiles from HCC patients in the TCGA database, we found that NF-κBp65, RelB, and NF-κB2 were upregulated in the HCC samples (374 cases) compared to those in normal liver tissues (50 cases) (P < 0.01, Fig. 1a). The gene discussed is NFKB2; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
