MAPT and breast cancer: We performed a comprehensive review of the mechanisms and prognostic values of the seven lncRNAs used for modelling, all of them are associated with cancer progression, especially for MAPT-AS1, which is the most relevant gene with FibLnc score, is proved to be correlated with the cell growth, invasiveness and paclitaxel resistance in breast cancer cells through antisense pairing with MAPT. MAPT-AS1 may serve as a potential therapeutic target in ER-negative breast cancers (26).
