ABCG2 and cancer: We noted that amino acid metabolism-related pathways (glycine, serine, and threonine metabolism; aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis; and taurine and hypotaurine metabolism) and lipid metabolism-related signaling pathways (choline metabolism in cancer and sphingolipid signaling pathway) were highly represented in the network, as were several inflammation-related pathways (Toll-like receptor signaling pathway, NOD-like receptor signaling pathway, and chemokine signaling pathway) and neuron functions (neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction and ABC transporter).
