INS and Obesity: After 14-week CGLC gavage, we found that the relative abundances of Bacteroides (B. acidifaciens, a gut commensal bacterium preventing obesity and improving insulin sensitivity), Alistipes, Bifidobacterium (Bifidobacterium pseudolongum), and Muribaculum showed an obvious upregulation (Figure 4E), and Bacteroides and Muribaculum significantly negatively correlated with the levels of TC and LDL-C (Figure 6A).
