TNF and polycystic ovary syndrome: Through enrichment analysis, we conclude that PCOS is mainly enriched in the following pathways: oxidative phosphorylation; glycogen biosynthesis; TNF, PPAR, and MAPK signaling; fatty acid metabolic process; lipid catabolic process, etc. One report consistent with our study showed that DEGs in granulosa cells of PCOS are mainly involved in oxidative phosphorylation (Cozzolino et al., 2022).
