Through enrichment analysis, we conclude that PCOS is mainly enriched in the following pathways: oxidative phosphorylation; glycogen biosynthesis; TNF, PPAR, and MAPK signaling; fatty acid metabolic process; lipid catabolic process, etc. One report consistent with our study showed that DEGs in granulosa cells of PCOS are mainly involved in oxidative phosphorylation (Cozzolino et al., 2022). Here, PPARA is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
