Durvalumab is a human immunoglobulin G1 kappa monoclonal antibody that inhibits PD-L1 binding to PD-1 and CD80; tremelimumab is a monoclonal immunoglobulin G2 antibody binding to CTLA-4 which, in combination with durvalumab, has shown clinical efficacy in patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (7, 21).
