In pancreatic cancer cells, migrasome is rich in chemokines such as CXCL5 and cytokines such as TGF-β1, which can be released into the surrounding environment to recruit immune cells and induce their differentiation into immunosuppressive and tumor-promoting phenotypes, further promoting malignant biological functions and immune escape in pancreatic cancer (6). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL5 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
