Recombinant human arginase 1 has previously been shown in vitro to suppress non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma cells (48), prostate cancer cells (LNCaP, DU-145, and PC-3) (49), melanoma cells, laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (50), leukemia cells (51), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (52), and ovarian cancer cells (53). Here, ARG1 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
