As a result of our research, we discovered that the expression of the GTPBP4 gene was upregulated in both human NSCLC tissues and cells; we also discovered that knocking out the expression of the GTPBP4 gene in lung cancer cells could inhibit the proliferation of lung cancer cells, reduce their invasive ability, and inhibit the growth of lung cancer in mice; the mechanism may be that GTPBP4 regulates EMT, which could slow the progression of NSCLC. Here, GTPBP4 is linked to lung carcinoma.
