GPM6A downregulation enhanced the proliferation and migration of lung adenocarcinoma cells, while GPM6A upregulation suppressed the proliferation and metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, GPM6A knockdown activated the PI3K/AKT pathway, whereas GPM6A upregulation inactivated the PI3K/AKT pathway. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and lung adenocarcinoma.
