Inhibition of miR-145-5p and HMGB3 simultaneously restored the promoting effect of the miR-145-5p inhibitor on EMT of BC cells (Figure 5(c)), which further denoted that overexpressing miR-145-5p counteracted the facilitating impact of HMGB3 on protein expression and the EMT process of cancer cells.
