In individuals with the FTO risk allele (AA/AT genotype), the results of logistic regression showed a significant association between BC with dietary intake of omega‐6 fatty acids (OR: 1.31, 95% CI: 1.08–1.60, p: <0.01) after adjusting for confounding factors such as age, breastfeeding duration, first menstruation age, post‐menopause age, breast cancer family history, number of pregnancies, smoking, using alcohol drinks and physical activity (Figure 1). The gene discussed is FTO; the disease is breast carcinoma.
