In descending order, the most frequently administered drug subgroups by T2D subjects were A10: Drugs used in diabetes (p = 8.70 × 10−220), C10: lipid modifying agents (p = 1.04 × 10−64), B01: anti-thrombotic agents (p = 2.43 × 10−52), C07: beta blocking agents (p = 1.74 × 10−51), A01: stomatological preparations (p = 7.51 × 10−41), N02: analgesics (p = 1.17 × 10−39), M01: anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic products (p = 9.40 × 10−32), and C09: agents acting on the renin-angiotensin system (p = 3.40 × 10−30) (Supplementary Data 17).
