When the median FVIII levels between sports-induced bleeds and during sport activities were compared for severe, moderate, and mild hemophilia patients separately, the difference was larger for persons with severe hemophilia (4.5 IU/dL during sports-induced bleeds and 8.6 IU/dL during sports activities without bleeding) than for mild hemophilia (14.0 IU/dL during sports-induced bleeds and 15.0 IU/dL during sports activities without bleeding). Here, F8 is linked to hemophilia.
