Among those DE-mRNAs, matrix metallopeptidase 3(MMP-3), fibronectin 1 (FN1), tenascin C (TNC), LRRC15, KRT6A, COMP, AKR1B10, and MUC5AC were significantly upregulated, which was consistent with previous studies on pterygium [8, 31–33]. The gene discussed is KRT6A; the disease is pterygium.
